Fade In - "Do not confuse the ability to tell family stories, with the "History" of the people your telling stories about!" "Were all miracles, that many of us unfortunately just let fade away, unannounced..."
Original History! - It is just as important that we understand, as Africans first, Americans second, that we are "Citizens" of the World as well, with a personal "History" that supersedes any History being made today.
Mission - The "Importance" of my "Place" has nothing to do with the "Importance" of my "Mission".
Deep Water! - Does the darkness I see in the distance keep me from reaching towards the "Light" I believe is beyond?
Messenger! - When the "Spirit" wants to speak, it is reliant on its interpreter and that's when the message can get real confusing...
Trail! - There is a distinct need to talk and to interact with our past and those who dwelled in it. Many things may be different now, but to ignore what was yesterday as if it does not matter, does not bode well for any conversation that is about building towards the future.
